Looking For Volunteers

As you may or may not be aware, Elvire is allowed to go home on day visits on Saturdays and Sundays.  I am thrilled to be able to bring her home to pass time with her cats and spend time in her home. There is one catch however, I can't keep up with her by myself. As you know she is very quick and impulsive and requires constant attention. It is for this reason I ask anyone who is willing, to spend their visiting time at our house rather than at the center on the weekends. She is quite active when we arrive home and she will constantly be getting up and moving about the house. She may lie down for a few minutes but she will get up soon after and return to the living room. Last weekend we arrived at the house on Sunday at 10:00 and by 1:00 she was ready to return to the center. It was nice having Andrea and Sue around however. They were both a little shocked that she just called it a day. The days are like that, when she tires out she calls it and asks to be returned. This is because she wants to stay at the house overnight but is not allowed at this point.
